Who’d have thought it?

Who’d have thought that at 32 years old I would be the Mum to two teenagers! Yes my baby girl turned 13 years old today.  I can barely believe it. Time is just whooshing by so fast. My little tiddly baby girl will be 1 year old in four weeks time, and my first baby girl is a TEENAGER! What is happening????

My Mum came up with the great idea to have a girlie pamper sleepover night at her house for Tarja and my neice B who also turned 13.  Two aunties came too and we spoilt the girls rotten! Tarja had been looking forward to it for weeks. We started with a trip to the cinema, then Mum fed us all. And then we gave the girls facials, head massages, hand massages, foot spas and pedicures.  Aunty Hannah did their nails, and they were showered with gifts and treats. 

I know for sure that they both felt really special and had a fabulous time.  After the sleepover Tarja and I came home to open her presents. An excited Barney had been waiting for hours for us to arrive home.  He had made his big sister a beautiful birthday cake.  Little Rosie was amazed by the whole present opening, and took it all in ready for her big day in December.  She was mesmerized by the candles on the cake.
